Create an account so you can use all of the tools on OERTX.



  1. To create an account, click Sign In/Register, then Register.
  2. Enter the requested information in each field. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). OERTX accounts require an email with an organizational affiliation as represented by a .edu or .gov email. If you would like to create an account but are not from a Texas Institution of Higher Education or Texas Government agency, please submit a support ticket for additional assistance.
  3. Once you have completed the information, click the Register button.
  4. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration with OERTX.
    1. If you do not receive the confirmation email promptly, check your spam folder.
  5. Click the link provided in the email, where you will be taken to the OERTX site as a registered user. You can see you are logged into the site when your profile picture is at the top right-hand side of the screen. You may begin exploring.
  6. Clicking your profile image in the top right corner will take you to your OERTX profile. This is where you will find all of your saved, authored, and draft resources.
